I am going to share my card making experience :D
I made this for my sis birthday.


 Step number 1
I suppose these are called thumb nails or paper nails, im not sure the exact name. First is to choose a design.

I bought a ladybird, bee, scissor and thread.

The one i used above is a balloon.
I wanted to create a 3D effect of holding a balloon, at the same time it can hold the card together like an envelop.
 Step 2
Fold the card twice, so it creates a flap, just like a envelop.

Next punch a mini hole, to put in the "nail".

Then i tie a "string/rope" at the back of the nail.

So place the nail into the hole, and on the other side of the card, secure the two flaps of the nail.

( Can conceal it by sticking ribbon or stickers over it.)
Step 3

Use a stamp or sticker. To create a character to hold" the balloon.

I choose this birdie, stamped and coloured.

The final step is to use Scotch tape or double-sided tape to tape the "string" of the balloon to the birdie's hand :)

Tah-Da. Complete
This is how u get the a envelop-card effect :D
