Better rooms , better views and lesser mosquitoes.

Which we failed to upgrade to, as it is fully booked.

 The room is quite spacious for two, actually i think it can hold 4 people.

The cleanliness is acceptable.

 Baby cot available upon request.



We bought the groupon deal for 90$ per pax and paid 24$ for ferry surcharge.

We failed to upgrade to Tirta Wing with 50$ more as its fully booked.

Wanted a upgrade

1. Its further away from the main lobby and services.

2. Its further away from the swimming pool as the old one is under construction.

3. Its rooms are older and more mosquitoes attack there.

4. No shelters from rain back to room.

5. Its views not as good.

Its better to be closer to service. Our room blackout short circuit when we attempt to use the water boiler.

We called them 4 times and they only reached 1 hour later. I know they are being delayed by the rain.

However 1 hour is just too much, our room has no electricity at all during the hour. Worse still we just came back from a swim and wanted to bath.

However i think its based on luck. My sister called them to repair the lights, they appear almost immediately after.

Okay next please check the water boiler before use. Ours is super old dirty disgusting that we give up using it.

Ohhh remember their tap water is not for human consumption. They do provide two 500ml of mineral water.


The condition and hygiene of the room is still acceptable. Oh ya our request for hair dyer failed, although they promise upon request.


I would rate them 5.5/10.
(Which i think i would rate them higher if i were staying at Tirta Wing.)


However, they are out to earn tourist money especially Singaporeans. Everything at the resort goes by S$ (Sg dollar). And if you want to use internet access, you have to pay quite a bit of money. My iphone was partically useless there.


We reached there about 1030am Batam Hour which is one hour behind Singapore. We bascially walked around and rot as we only can check in at 2PM.


There is Bus to Mega Mall and return. (for 8$)

Basically nothing much to do there. I think 2D1N there should be the maximum stay period.
Although it is not a fabulous trip but it is still a enjoyable one.
